Generation Next Youth Ministry - 3rd Saturday

This month’s Generation Next Youth Ministry will be held on Saturday, October 21 at 12 Noon and the teaching topic is: What God thinks of You! Bring your young people out as this lesson will be a refreshing boost to their self-esteem and help guard them against bullying.

Our outreach for this quarter, the Back-to-School event, was cancelled due to the hurricane; however, we have been blessed with an opportunity to share the donated school supplies for a worthy cause. The Porch Light organization is hosting a School Supply Drive for child sex trafficking victims and is need of school supplies. Currently donated items will be donated to them, as well as any school supplies received by Wednesday, October 18.

The church is looking for volunteers for our annual Thanksgiving and Christmas services and celebrations. Locations for all events have been secured, but coordinators and volunteers are needed. If you can lead or assist in any way, please plan to stay after service on Sunday for a brief Holiday Committee meeting or contact First Lady Brown directly this week..
